Non-woven fabrics How to prevent dirt?
Apr 12, 2017

Non-woven pollution from the following 2 aspects of consideration:

(1) Oil rejection finishing

(2) Easy decontamination finishing

Easy decontamination finishing is mainly to make hydrophobic fibers oily liquid dirt easy to be removed, and because liquid dirt often as particles of the carrier and cementation agent, if the liquid dirt easy to wash away, the particles will also be easy to remove. The dirt off the surface of non-woven fabrics, in addition to the washing conditions and other factors, mainly depends on the surface of the critical surface tension, that is, the surface of the nonwoven fabric. Fabric is easy to decontamination and can resist wet in the stain performance, it has a high moisture in the liquid phase medium, but in the air medium is also the common oily dirt has very low interface can, so that can have good anti-pollution effect.

The liquid dirt is mainly polluted by wetting first in the fiber surface, then the stain is made between the fabric inside, the fibers and the yarn by capillary action. Its principle is similar to the wetting and penetration of the water on the fibre surface, but the surface tension of the oily liquid dirt is less than the water, so the wetting ability of the liquid dirt to nonwovens is strong.
